| ABOUT THE COMPANY |
 |
HomeLifeValley Realty
HomeLife Valley Realty is a locally owned real estate franchise serving the central part of the Annapolis Valley. We serve a large urban and rural area within a 35 – 40 kilometer radius from our centrally located office in New Minas. Some of the communities served include Wolfville, Kentville, Port Williams, Coldbrook, Hantsport, Canning, Berwick, Aylesford and, to some extent, Greenwood.
Our mission is to provide friendly and professional real estate service to our customers and clients. Our goal is to help others achieve their goals in buying or selling real estate.
HomeLife Valley Realty has been part of the HomeLife network for over ten years. One of the current owners, Gary Morse, purchased the already existing franchise in early 1995 and Mike Barnard joined him as a partner in late 1996.
As the time of the purchase there were six agents and one support staff. As of December, 2003, there were twenty-one licensed Sales Associates (twelve individuals or teams) together with three full time support staff. From 1995 through 2000 there was an average annual increase in sales of 33.7%. Sales took a big jump in 1998, by 78.3%. The biggest factor in the 1998 increase was the acquisition of another local real estate office. It appears that sales will be up 16% in 2001 as compared to 2000. The primary reason for this increase was the closing of another real estate office and most of their Sales Associates joining HomeLife.
HomeLife Valley is developing as a full service real estate office including real estate sales, property management and new home construction. We have agents involved in all areas of real estate including residential, commercial, industrial, recreational, agricultural and income properties.
